Your information,
in plain words.
What we collect when you use Ayvro, why, who sees it, and how to get it changed or deleted.
Who we are
Ayvro runs small, in-person plans in Gurgaon. “We” means Ayvro. Questions or requests about your data: hello@ayvro.in.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your email address. If you continue with Google, Google also shares your name and profile photo with us. We never see your Google password.
- Your profile: name, city and WhatsApp number, plus anything optional you add: a line about yourself, your Instagram handle, your LinkedIn profile.
- Your plans: requests you send (including any note to the host), confirmed seats, cancellations and whether you showed up.
- Referrals: if you join through a friend’s link, we note who invited you so they get referral points. They see a count of friends who joined, never your details.
- Your swipes: which plans you swiped right, left or saved for later. Before you sign in, these stay in your browser only. They reach us when you save them.
- Your vibe check, if you take it: answers to a few optional this-or-that questions, like how long you’ve been in Gurgaon, what you’re looking for, and whether you’d rather a dinner for six or a house party. We only keep them if you tick the box agreeing to it.
- Feedback after a plan: if you attended, how likely you are to come again, how your host did, any comments, and which other guests you’d happily meet again.
- Anonymous counts: how many times pages are viewed, how many swipes each plan gets, and which party-game cards get drawn or skipped, per day. No cookies, visitor IDs or IP addresses are stored for this, and we skip it entirely if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Party games: names you type into a game at /games stay in your browser. They never reach us.
- Security: a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection address for a short time, to stop people hammering the sign-in form.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in (it lasts 30 days, or until you sign out) and a short-lived one while you sign in. If you arrive through a friend’s link, one more remembers who invited you for 30 days, so they get credit if you join. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To sign you in, with Google or with a one-time email link.
- To review requests, confirm seats and send you emails about your plans.
- To add you to the WhatsApp community and the group for each plan you join, which you agree to when you complete your profile.
- To decide which plans to run and in which city, and to tell people who swiped right on a plan when it gets a date.
- To decide who sits together. We use your vibe check answers, your past plans and who said they’d meet whom again to balance each table. We never decline a request because of a vibe check answer, and we never rank people.
- To improve plans and hosts, and to act on anything you tell us about someone’s behaviour.
- To send occasional marketing emails, only if you ticked that box. You can untick it any time.
Who sees what
- Ayvro hosts and organizers see your profile, contact details, city and any note you send with a request.
- Only Ayvro organizers and hosts see your vibe check answers and your feedback. Other guests never do. If you say you’d meet someone again, they aren’t told.
- Other guests may see your first name and photo on a plan page once enough people are going. Organizers can hide you from that list. In WhatsApp groups, members can see each other’s names and numbers.
- Service providers that run the site for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and email delivery), Resend (sign-in emails), Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google) and WhatsApp (when you join a group).
- We don’t sell your data and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Photos and filming
Big Boss Weekend is filmed and the best moments are posted on Ayvro’s social media. You’ll sign a separate filming consent before you take part. At other plans a host may take photos. Tell your host if you’d rather not appear, and we won’t post photos where you can be identified.
How long we keep it
- Your account stays until you delete it.
- When you delete your account (in My plans), you’re signed out straight away, your upcoming seats are cancelled, and your personal details are removed within 30 days. Anonymous attendance counts may stay.
- Your vibe check answers stay until you change or clear them, or delete your account. Feedback comments are removed after a year; the scores stay only as anonymous counts. Meet-again picks are removed when either person deletes their account.
- Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days.
Your choices
- See and edit your profile any time in My plans, including a “What Ayvro knows” summary of your vibe check answers and plan picks.
- Change or clear your vibe check answers any time. Clearing them withdraws your consent and deletes them.
- Reset your saved swipes from the swipe page, or delete your account from My plans.
- Email hello@ayvro.in to get a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw your consent or raise a complaint. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you have these rights, and we aim to reply within 7 days.
AYVRO Merch
- When you join a drop: we save the piece, colour and size you picked against your Ayvro account, with the date. That’s all; we already have your name and WhatsApp number from your profile.
- Why: to message you on WhatsApp when it’s your turn to pay and pick up or ship, and to decide how many of each piece, colour and size to make.
- Nothing is charged when you join. You can leave a drop any time from Your drops.
- Who sees it: Ayvro organizers only. It isn’t shared with makers or advertisers.
- How long: until you leave the drop or delete your account.
- Anonymous counts: how many times each piece is viewed, per day, with no personal details, and skipped if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Age
Ayvro is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this notice we’ll update the date at the top. For big changes we’ll also email members.
