The Round Roti Challenge

Can you make a round roti? Nobody can. That’s the point.

What happens

  1. Roti rolling with a patient aunty-coach
  2. Tawa conversations while they puff
  3. Sabzi, achaar and a group dinner

Who it’s for

  • You like cooking together, or at least eating what everyone else cooks.
  • You like a bit of friendly competition and don’t mind looking silly.
  • You’re new to Gurgaon, or you’ve been here a while and want to meet new people.

Good to know

The Round Roti Challenge, answered.

When does The Round Roti Challenge happen?

Weekday wind-down: Tue · 7:30–9:30 pm. We set the date once enough people swipe right on it, and the people who did hear first on WhatsApp.

How many people come?

6–10 people. Small enough that you actually talk to everyone at the table.

How much does it cost?

Joining is free. Food and drinks are yours to order, like any other night out.

Where is it?

It starts in or near Gurgaon. Each dated table shows the area, and confirmed guests get the exact address a couple of hours before it starts.

Do I need to know anyone?

No. Most people come alone. We read every request so each table has a good mix.
